On Wednesday 4 December 2019, selected high school Gold Award recipients were given the opportunity to attend a special excursion to Luna Park, Sydney. This incentive scheme was designed to give instant recognition for the efforts of students in all years who achieved 15 merit certificate and who worked exceptionally well in all classes and contributed positively to the school community. This year, we had over 75 students from the Year 7-10 cohort being the recipients of Gold Awards and to recognise their academic and excellent behaviour, the school rewarded the students with an excursion to Luna Park.
It was an exciting and exhilarating day whereby the students and teachers had plenty of fun, going on all the variety of rides, especially most students enjoyed going on the Hair Raiser, Ferris Wheel, Dodgem Cars, Cooney Island and the Ranger.
By the end of the day, the students were exhausted on the bus ride back to school. The teachers and school helpers acknowledged the outstanding behaviour displayed by the students throughout the excursion.
A big congratulations to all the students for their excellent behaviour and academic excellence throughout the year.
