Learning Beyond Boundaries, Growing Through Experience

Excursions & Camps – Extending Learning Beyond the Classroom

Al Amanah College places strong emphasis on experiential learning through well-organised excursions and incursions. These opportunities are designed to complement classroom instruction, nurture personal growth, and enhance community engagement. By applying theoretical knowledge in authentic settings, students sharpen critical thinking skills and explore cultural, historical, and environmental contexts.

Umrah Trip – A Journey of Faith, Growth and Brotherhood

A Spiritual Excursion Like No Other

At Al Amanah College, one of the most spiritually rewarding and transformative experiences we offer our students is the blessed opportunity to perform Umrah—a journey that transcends the ordinary school excursion. It is a pilgrimage that not only strengthens students’ connection with their religion but also builds a powerful sense of unity, brotherhood, and lifelong belonging among peers.

The Umrah trip is more than just travel; it is a deeply personal and spiritual journey. Visiting the holy cities of Makkah and Madinah, students are given the chance to:

  • Perform the rites of Umrah with sincerity and devotion
  • Stand where the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ once stood
  • Reflect on their relationship with Allah
  • Engage in powerful moments of dua, prayer, and remembrance

Guided by our dedicated staff and spiritual mentors, students deepen their understanding of Islamic values, strengthen their identity, and return home renewed in faith and purpose.

Strengthening the Bond of Brotherhood

One of the most beautiful outcomes of the Umrah excursion is the unbreakable bond it creates among students. The shared experience of worship, reflection, and travel fosters a special connection—one rooted in sincerity, faith, and mutual support.

Whether it’s making tawaf side by side, waking up for Fajr together, or offering emotional support during moments of reflection, students form strong, meaningful relationships that often last far beyond their school years. Many alumni still speak of their Umrah journey as a pivotal chapter in their personal and spiritual growth, and a milestone in their friendships.

Creating a Lifelong Impact

The Umrah trip stays with our students long after they return. It becomes a source of strength in challenging times, a reminder of their values, and a turning point in their identity as young Muslims. For many, it’s the moment they begin to see themselves not just as students—but as responsible, compassionate members of the community.

At Al Amanah College, we are proud to offer such an experience—one that weaves spiritual fulfilment with personal development and creates a sense of community that students carry with them into adulthood and beyond.

This is not just an excursion! It is a life-changing journey of reflection, unity, and remembrance—one that continues to shape hearts long after the plane lands back home.
