Mr. Faris Alammedine is the principal of Al Amanah College’s. With more than 24 years’ experience of schooling from Kindergarten to Year 12, Mr. Faris Alammedine has held numerous roles in the educational sector ranging from Principal, Deputy Principal and Secondary School Coordinator to Secondary Mathematics and Science teacher and HSC Mathematics assessor. Mr Alwan believes that a successful education is one which is centred around inspiration: inspired teaching to drive academic achievement, and responsible adult role modelling to encourage emotional intelligence.
He has taught and inspired others to learn and teach via an inquiry approach that aligns student interest with what they learn, thereby enriching their natural curiosity and promoting a love of learning.
