On Monday, 17 March 2025, Al Amanah College hosted a memorable SRC, Year 6 and Year 10 Iftar Dinner, bringing together students, staff, and families in a night of gratitude, unity, and spiritual enrichment.

The evening commenced with a warm meet and greet, where executive staff, Arabic staff, and teachers welcomed guests. The Master of Ceremonies, Nizar Halabi, opened the program with an inspiring address, setting the tone for an evening of faith and camaraderie. A touching recitation from the Holy Qur’an by Amaan Shah followed, allowing attendees to reflect on the significance of Ramadan.

A highlight of the evening was the school choir performance, led by Mr. Abboud, which filled the venue with harmonious melodies. The Deputy Principal, Sheikh Mohamad Halabi, delivered a heartfelt speech emphasising the importance of student leadership and commitment to Islamic values. This was further reinforced by a religious lesson by Sheikh Chadi Al Kasem, reminding students of their role as ambassadors of faith and knowledge.

As the Maghrib Adhan was called, attendees gathered for prayer, followed by a blessed Iftar meal shared in unity. To conclude the evening, a live performance by the chanting band filled the atmosphere with uplifting Islamic Chants, bringing the event to a powerful and joyous close.

This annual iftar was more than just a meal—it was a celebration of student leadership, school spirit, and Islamic values. A special thank you to the SRC, staff, and all who contributed to making the night a success. May this Ramadan continue to bring peace, reflection, and blessings to our school community.
