Year 11 Graduation Ceremony

On Friday the 13th of October, The Year 11 Graduation Ceremony was held to mark the end of Year 11 studies and most importantly to welcome the challenging year ahead. The Year 11 students have done exceptionally well this year and demonstrated outstanding leadership qualities through many programs being offered to them by the school.

The MC’s for the ceremony were the 2023 Year 11 girls School Captain and Vice Captain Maysa El-Masri and Nayta Qadir, who introduced Year 11 student Nour Al-Kasem to the stage for a beautiful Quran recitation. This was followed by the Principal Address from Mr Ayman Alwan who congratulated the Year 11 cohort for their achievements and resilience. This was proceeded by a religious lesson from Sheikh Chadi Al-Kasem who reminded us of the values in our beloved religion Islam. Following this, Arabic student Aiyad Hassan took to the stage for a wonderful Arabic speech. Year 11 School Captain Jasmine El-Kabbout then delivered a heartfelt and moving Captain speech about the memories made during this year, and the gratitude for the support from the teachers along the way. The much anticipated Awards ceremony then commenced. This year a new category called the Dai Le awards was introduced and was presented by Dai Le MP for Fowler which recognised the efforts of two students in the cohort.
